Over the last seven months, we have all had to adjust to a new normal as the COVID-19 pandemic continues around the world.
Since we are all spending more time at home, we are looking to make our homes more comfortable. It is my and my team’s greatest pleasure to be chosen to help you do that for you and for your loved ones.
The global supply of furniture has significantly diminished. Manufacturers had to rework millions of square feet of production and warehousing to ensure the social distancing requirements are met. This includes installing safety shields, performing temperature checks, and procuring safety equipment. Furniture is being produced at a much slower rate than before.
Furniture retailers and manufacturers went from being completely closed down to servicing the greatest spike in demand for furniture that we have seen in our lifetimes. Our entire team is working around the clock to get orders shipped. Although our costs have increased, we have maintained our low prices for our clients. In addition, our volume of orders in 2020 is more than double what it was in 2019. We have hired more than 50 new people in 2020, and have tripled the size of our customer service team.
Our team around the world is working double and triple shifts in order to process orders and get them delivered to you as quickly as possible. While we won’t miss 2020, we definitely do not want you to miss the opportunity to enjoy your new furniture.
Some of our customers may experience a delayed delivery period. This affects only some of our customers, and we will do our best to keep those affected up to date. All orders will ship in the order they were placed, so by ordering when you did, you reserved your place in the shipping schedules. When our delivery team arrives, they will make sure to have safety measures in place to maximize your safety.
We will continue to work hard to make sure your furniture is delivered to you as quickly and safely as possible. We sincerely apologize for these delays. We will keep you posted every step of the way.
